I'm currently on F1 VISA and I'm in my OPT period now. I recently got married and my wife has an H1B Visa though she is in India right now. I'm planning to bring her to the US as F2 dependent Visa since her client company (in the US) is in a slowdown phase and is not taking in people right now. She had been in US for around 2 years working for the company. If I take my wife in as F2 dependent, will she be able to work here? Will she lose her work privileges? Is there any other way to convert to work related VISA with her current H1B experience.
