Hi,
This week, i have noticed that I am currently holding an invalid I20 with a valid f1 visa. The thing is that i graduated from masters may 2015, and started phd in the summer. I have been taking full time courses and working as full time gra since then. Since i am taking my courses and working as gra i didn't noticed that my i20 belongs to my masters until my driver licence expired. The isso in the university didn't notice me about the issue and i provided all my financial documents when i started my phd. Now, the officier in the isso told me that i need to apply reinstatement but since the expiration exceeds 5 months, i am worried about the process. Is there anything that we can do? What Is the process? Do you have any suggestion?
