Need Advise

Hi Team,

I got admitted in Norteastern University and about to receive my i20 in couple of days.

i am planning to go for Visa by end of this month. but i just noticed my Passport expires on 31 March'16.

Can i still go for visa with Passport validity less than 6months.
My Plan is to renew the passport after i get Visa.

I am not really confident on this can someone suggest the best way.

When you go for visa stamping that you need 6 months passport validity. It's better you renew your passport.

just to recheck its 6months Valid option is to enter into US but is that applicable to go for a Visa.

Because i really don't have that much time. Classes due to start on 16th Jan and no Slots available till 28th Dec'15.

please advise so that i can stick to the plan.

Can some one advise on above pls..this give me a clear way to go ahead.
