I went to usa January 2013 and was given an i94 paper. I'm on an F1 visa. I left the usa last August 2015 but I plan to come back this January to continue my studies. I realized I didn't hand in my i94 when I departed and now I lost it too.
Do I need to replace it? I've been searching the net and found out that i94s are recorded electronically now. I checked my record though and my departure wasn't recorded there. So... Do I still need to get a replacement paper copy even if they are done electronically now? I'm asking this because I see that I need to pay about 300$ fee for replacement. Can I just print my record from their website? Please help!
