Hey guys. Here is my visa interview experince. It was a nightmare for me.
Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Date: November 25, 2015.
Attempt: 1st.
Status: Rejected under 214(b).
Schoolname: Laney Community College. Oakland, California.
VO: Assalamualaykum (He greeted every applicant in Uzbek. "Assalamualaykum" means "How do u do". He was about 30 years old man with beard. )
Me: Vaalaykumsalom (I also greeted him in Uzbek.)
VO: Pass your passport and documents. (He said this in Uzbek)
Me: (I passed my I20, SEVIS, Payment and passport.)
VO: (He looked at my I20 and asked "do u speak English?").
Me: Yes, I do.
VO: Why r u going to US and ur purpose?
Me: I am going to US to study and get degree.
VO: get degree? What degree?
Me: degree in Business Administration and management.
VO: (He said smth and I didn't catch him)
Me: Sorry?
VO: Why this school?
Me: bla bla bla.( I really dont remember what I said)
VO: Who will sponsor u?
Me: My parents will.
VO: What r ur parents?
Me: My father is an economist and works at YYYY university as a proffesor. My mother is a farmer. She owns a farm which is 40 hectares. And her farm provides meat to manufacturers of sausage products in my hometown.
VO: Have ur parents ever travelled abroad?
Me: Yes, My father has travelled to Italy.
VO: when?
Me: last year.
VO: Do u have their passport copies.
Me: No.
VO: Have u ever travveled yourself?
Me: Yes, I was in Russia last year.
VO: Why?
Me: I learned Russian language and studied exact sciences there.
VO: (He said smth and I didn't catch him again).
Me: Sorry, I can't hear u.
VO: How many Schools u applied?
Me: I got addmisons from 2 schools. Laney college and Bute college.
VO: Why Bute college?
Me: Bla bla bla
VO: Where is it?
Me: California.
VO: where?
Me: California.
VO: (again he said "where" and now I got that he asking the location but unlikely I didn't know the location of the BUTE college and I lied).
Me: in Oakland. ( the wrong answer)
VO: put ur left hand to the scan.
Me: ( I put and then he started typing smth on the computer for about 30 seconds).
VO: (He said smth very quickly and I didn't understood.) then he gave back my passport with paper.
Me: (here I realized that my visa was rejected and put my passport into the file and left the window).
The second big mistake - I even didn't tell goodbye or thanks to VO. I just left without a word.
Guys, I understand that my situation is terrible now, because I lied to VO. I am planning to reapply after 6 months. I need help and suggestions.
