I am taking VISA appointment for my wife in February 2016. She is presently employed at a very small privately owned company (less than 25 employees) with salary Rupees 20000/month. Her job duties are in sales (preparing quotations, after sales services etc. nothing technical) and her education is a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
She is going to resign her job on February 5, 2016. However, I am working on her application now (January, 23).
What should I enter as her primary occupation in Present Work/Education/Training Information section in DS 160?
If I enter 'Homemaker' or 'Not employed', it is a false information (at least for now).
If I enter "engineering" (which is a truth at this point of time), I will be attracting questions from the consulate- "What are going to do with your present job?"
(Additional question, in either case, should she carry the copies of her relieving letter and resignation letter?)
