F1 after Applying the green card lottery

Hi I'm very concerned about my situation, please help me.

I'm from Italy, last year (2015) I applied for the Green card lottery and also applied on several universities to receive scholarship for Phd.

I've just received a positive answer from one of those universities they will pay my 5 years of Phd that is awesome.

Now I'm scared that my F1 visa could be rejected for the fact that I applied to the Green card lottery.

Please let me know, should I mention this during the interview about the green card lottery or saying nothing? Others advice?

I also have both my parents in USA under non immigrant visa L1/L2 but I own a house and have a dog in Italy.

Please let me know.
