Hello ,
After my F-1 OPT ended i transferred to another school for an MBA. My wife very recently applied for an F2 dependent visa and it was denied. She was told to ask her husband to get his student data fixed as in the system he dosent see me as a valid student. i contacted my school and "Immigration and customs enforcement branch" and both confirm that i have an active SEVIS student ID. The only proof i have is the I-20 and I-94 and those two the VO did not think was adequate. He was looking at some other database which i am having trouble to find out. Any idea of what i should do or where should i look? What needs to be fixed and what proof can my wife show?
