    B2 to F1 when he is in US

    Hi
    My cousin entered US as a visitor (b2) , we are thinking to get his in to school here for further studies (f1) . Is there a way that he can apply for F1 when staying in US. Typically kind of B2 to F1 , please advise.

    It's better if he returns home as stated in his ds160 and reapply as F1 from home country.

      Preferably apply from home country after returning home.. as was mentioned to Visa Officer and CBP.
