Travelling during OPT, when OPT Extension is filed and H1B is Filed.
Hello Everyone,
I am currently in OPT which ends on 24th June, my H1B will be filed in April 2016 and also applying for OPT extension.
I have to travel to India in the mid of May and will be back with in two weeks.
I wanted to know is it safe to travel while OPT extension is filed and H1B in processing state, my travel cannot be postponed. Is there any steps that I should take so that my H1B and OPT extension applications are not affected and will be able to re-enter US without any trouble.
Any help is highly appreciated.
