Error in I 539 form post filling

Hi,

I applied for COS from F2 to F1 on few days back. I just realised that i made a mistake in my I 539 form. I signed the form through typewriting which is not accepted.The form is already posted to the designated USCIS lockbox. I am not sure what will happen. Will my application get rejected and resend back to me? My filling fee is gone? How long will it take to find out what happens to my application , can I refile again?

My I 539 got rejected due to signature issues and lockbox returned the entire packet back to me.I am resubmitting the application again. While reviewing my rejected application i found few errors in my I 539 form . Can i fill in a new form , correct all the errorss and resubmit? Please advice asap.
