  • Please help. Slight spelling mistake.

    Hello,
I have a question regarding the visa application.
My Father's name on his National ID, Previous Passports and every other document(including my Birth Certificate) is 'Bhesham Lal'. I'm applying for a student visa and as you know, i have to write my father's name on the application form. But my problem is that my father's name on MY passport is 'Beesham Lal'. So you see there's a slight difference in that. Please tell me which one should i mention on the application. Also, the I-20 which i have got mentions my father name in the financial section as 'Bhesham Lal' which is his official name, so i think i should write Bhesham instead of Beesham on the application. Please reply as soon as possible. There's only a slight mistake in passport.

You should always input the correct details on a visa application even if they're incorrect somewhere else. Put your father's correctly spelled name and carry his passport or other documents with you as proof to the interview.
