Start date change after getting visa

Hi, I received my F1 visa last week based on an I-20 which listed a program start date in end-August. However, I learnt today that I have been admitted to the summer term at the same university so I will be starting in July instead of August. The university is sending me an updated I-20 with the new July start date. My question is - is the new I-20 and the visa I currently have sufficient to enter the US in July, or do I need to get a new visa stamped based on the updated I-20? The issue date on the visa is from last week.

We're basically in the same boat; our stories are THE SAME. I'm an international student, got all my visa paperwork done as if I were to start my fall term normally, got my stamp two days ago. Today I received an email for the summer program and I just don't know what to do. I emailed the international office anyways, but the thought of going through the whole process (and fees) again unnerves me. I might get a response soon, so I'll post it here.
