DEAR FORUM,
I’m currently living and working in Miami and I have a L1B visa. My wife and children have a L2.
I’ve been offered a job in the UK and am collecting information about the visas.
My youngest daughter needs to finish her highschool in the USA. She is now a junior (grade 11) and next year she will have her exams. After her high school exams she wants to study in Europe. I want to apply for a F1 visa for her and for my wife the B2.
I will ask the school for the I-20 and will use the I-539 for the change of the nonimmigrant status.
Q1. Can I use the I-539 for both of them together?
Q2. On the I-539 form who is the person to apply and who is the person to be added?
My oldest daughter will start her study in Scotland the 1st of September. Probably I will start the new job the first of August in the UK. Her I-94 is valid till November 2018.
Q3. Do I need to take any action for her visa? Or can she remain on her I-94?
Thanks in advance.
