Parents accompanying on different visa
Hi,
I have recently been accepted into a Master's program in the US and will be applying for an F1 visa. My school has sent me my I 20. My parents will be travelling with me to the States to drop me off and will return back to India in 2-3 weeks. I had two queries regarding this-
1. Which type of visa should my parents apply for? I'm guessing a B2 is ideal.
2. In my DS-160 form, there is a question that asks information about the people travelling with me. Do I have to fill my parent's details or is that space only required to be filled in for any dependants?
Any help would be appreciated!
