F2 Visa Application While on F1 OPT and H1B Petition Approved

Hi All,

I am currently on my F1 OPT which expires in Dec 2016. I also have an approved H1B petition, starting Oct 2016. My wife is planning to come to the US in June 2016, for which we are planning to apply for her F2 Visa. If the question arises that only 6 months of my OPT remain, should she explain the fact that I have an approved H1B petition and that she plans to change her status from F2 to H4 by Oct 2016? Will that impact the approval of the F2 visa?
