URGENT: Moving to US for my PhD on F1, to visit my brother on German Schengen Visa.
Hello all,
I am moving to US for my PhD (on TA) this August under F-1 visa. But before I land in the US, I plan to visit my brother under Schengen tourist visa. He is currently studying in Germany. I have my consular interview in 2 days so please tell me whether I need to submit any extra document like my brother's credentials etc. for this purpose? I plan to travel on a 5 day stay on Lufthansa's multi-stop flight reaching Frankfurt on 4th Aug and landing Chicago on 9th Aug.
Also tell me if I shall request my consular officer to speed up my processings so that I can get back my passport ASAP and can go ahead to apply for my Schengen visa.
