Hi there, my cousin enters US as tourist visa and exchange to a student visa. Now she and here fiance (US Citizen) is planning to get married. Can anyone here tells me what's the process of this type of case? And one things is that she has a prior marriage before to a non US Citizen and was separated for a long time? We don't want to hire an atty. Need your comments.

The first step is to be sure first marriage is officially terminated and be sure the partner has not been involved in sham marriages in the past and to be sure she does not have criminal records. When you through with this you can go ahead with wedding. thereafter you can return here for next step bcos its a long tortious process.
