Hi Guys,
I am currently pursuing my Masters in USA on H4 visa and have more one semester left for graduation. I have a valid H4 extension till 2018, at the same time my H4 to F1 COS is also pending decision at USCIS Dallas center. I need to travel to India for vacation at the end of the year So my question is -
-> If i don't receive a decision on my COS can i still travel to India on my H4 since i have a valid H4 till 2018? Also when i am coming back to USA should i apply for H4 or F1 visa stamping?
-> Is it better to travel to India and start a new F1 visa appointment if i dont receive a decision by the time i leave USA?
Please provide some information if you have gone through this situation / you know of someone who has experienced this.
