Hi, I am Ashish and I am currently living in US on H4 Visa. I had appiled to a masters course at University of Washington and got selected thus I am coming back to India to get my F1 stamped.
The problem I am facing is when I am trying to make a visa interview appointment throuh usvisadoc website, there is an error in my profile. My profile has "my country of birth" listed as Gambia.
I don't know how that happened as I have never been to Gambia and my country of birth is India. After following up with the call center and writing several mails the issue is still not resolved.
Today one customer service rep told me to finish my application with the wrong detail ( according to him the only details there in DS160 matter) but refused to give it in writing via Email.
I am really confused and I have already booked my tickets for India.
If anyone in the group has faced similar issue please help!
