Hello!
I am in a dilemma. I am currently on F1-OPT (STEM) and I have 2 attempts to obtain H1-B. I was offered position X which was why I took up the job, but due to project delays, I was offered position Y which I totally dislike. I have to stay for a year to avoid returning the signing bonus and relocation money.
Should I wait for the company to apply for H1-B or change jobs now under OPT?
In other words, Is H1 transfer easier than requesting to apply for H1B?
I would like to change quickly but since H1 is also important, I do not want to compromise on it. I don't see any future with what I am currently doing.
Secondly, I have already changed jobs before and this will be my 2nd job change in 1 year. Is that going to be a problem for me?
