Started a Company during OPT

Hello,

I am student on F1 - OPT. My OPT started on June 2016. I am also one of the founders of a company. It is a LLC. I started this company on March 2016. Can I use my employment with this company to prove my employment status in the U.S (as all students with OPT need to have a job related to their field) ? What do I need to do in order to do that ? What complications will I face if I do that ?
