Hello Everyone
I completed my Masters in December 2015 . I came to the US on F-1 Visa in Aug 2012 . My graduation got delayed due to the 1 year Co-op/Internship I chose to do.
I am currently on OPT and have a job but my F1-VISA expires in May 2017. I spoke to my school's DSO and she suggested that I got to Canada to renew or extend my F1-VISA since I am currently working in NYC and not required to go to India . I just needed everyone else's suggestions/inputs about the same . Since I have heard of cases where in people get rejected because Canada is not my home country and if it does get rejected I can't even get back to US as I have to go back to India and if I get it stamped there would I be able to get back to US . Is that the case ? What would you people suggest Canada or India ? Any inputs are welcome people .
