Working remotely on OPT ?

Hi,

I am a Computer Science graduate student. I am working in a software company where almost all the employees work from home including myself.

Right now I am working on OPT and will have to extend my OPT using the STEM extension in the next year i.e. 2017.

Would there be any issue with me working remotely/work from home in getting an OPT extension ?

Is it allowed to work remotely or not while we are on OPT extension?
