I have been going to a CCC as an international student and I'm applying to transfer to a 4-year university right now and the application ends in couple days.
However, I recently got married to a US citizen so I'm just wondering whether to fill out my transfer application as a dependent student (of my parents in home country) or independent student.
Can anyone tell me if I should apply as a F-student or a resident ? (my husband and I ' filled out the adjustment of status yet, but we're planning on this December) and if i apply as international student, by the time i get accepted to whichever univerisity, can i switch from international student to resident status once i got approved for permanet residency?
