Hi Friends,
my wife was studying at a University on H4. We recently went back to India and she did get her fresh F1 stamped and then she has returned back to US. Is there any Online Check-In that might be needed once she has entered on this fresh F1 visa ?
I ask this because some of the universities have this listed as a step or as part of F1 orientation but my guess is that it would be applicable or required for students who are travelling to USA for the first time on F1. It wont be valid for students who were already enrolled on H4 earlier and were travelling back on a fresh F1 for the sake of coming on F1 status.
Can any one of you confirm this for me and how confident are you about your understanding. The online Check in required to be done within 3 days of arrival into US and so i am in a rush rush situation with 2 days already gone and my wife's university is closed and not available to answer this doubt. Please help. thanks
