F-1 Student Visa Revoked
Hi,
My F-1 student Visa was revoked by an immigration officer when I tried to enter the United States after winter vacations. I was going back to complete my last semester. Since my visa was revoked, I will be taking the Spring 2017 off and residing in India. I plan to return to the US for the Fall 2017 semester. Since I won't be an active student in the Spring and my Visa is already cancelled, does this mean that my SEVIS record is also terminated? If so, will I have to apply for a new I-20 through my institution and also establish a new SEVIS record for a new F-1 Student Visa?
