Hello, I have a question regarding F1 and Deferred Actions. So I joined the Military through Mavni Program. And due to the background investigation, I have been delayed for basic training, and I lost my F1 status after my first delay. I submitted my F1 reinstatement in 11/2017 and I know it takes 6-9 months meanwhile the result is not guaranteed. And now the army allows us to apply for deferred actions. So I am wondering if the F1 and deferred actions are conflicted. Can I choose to give up one of them after I got both approved or the immigration office automatically cancel my F1 once my deferred action approved. If anyone knows, I will be really appreciated. Thank you.
