L1B --> F1--> H1-- Would CPT days be counted against H1?

Hi,

I am completing 5 years on L1B in September 2017 and planning to move to F1 where CPT is allowed. Will CPT days be counted against H1? Do I need refrain from working on CPT for one year to have counter reset to 0 for H1?
