Hello, I have been accepted as a PhD student in an American university.
After reading the interview questions, I understand that there's a strong chance of visa denial if they get wrong answers (e.g. "I plan to work in the US after studying in the US university and getting my degree")!
I am an active duty member of the armed forces in my country, and I plan to resign just before I travel to the US. I don't have service commitment to the military any more.
Could this answer to a question like "What is your current job?" be a reason for F1 visa denial?
Thanks
