I got my f2 visa approved in hydrabad consulate and here is my experience.
Me: good morning sir!
Vo: good morning.
Vo: your husbands i20 please
Given
Vo: when will he be graduated?
Me:may be next sem
Vo: you mean fall of 2017
Me: yes sir
Vo: what does your father in law do
Me: business
Vo: what sort of business
Me: horiculture
Vo: does your husband have siblings
Me: yes sir! One younger brother
Vo: when have you been marraied?
Me: its been an year sir.
Vo: how are you going to suppourt your living over there?
Me: my father is sponsoring me sir
Vo: what does you father do?
Me: advocate sir.
Vo: what is your anual income.
Me: ** lakhs sir
That is the income of my family sir. My mom also an advocate but she stopped working now but we have rents coming so she to earns like that.
Vo: ok. Have you ever been to other countries?
Me: yes sir an year ago maldives and 5-6 years ago bangkok sir!
(He gave my husbands i20 back.
He didnt ask anyother document. Infact i didnt even open my file. My hubands i20 is in my hands as it was asked by some checking guy before i entered the line.
My passport was taken by the girl overthere and was given to VO even before my interview started.)
Vo: your visa is approved
Me: with a big simle thank you sir! Thank you very much.
So this is my experience. I was very nervous but i got through some how by answering confidently.
My visa got approved on april 24th
And im planning to go in second week of september as my husband is busy right now and cannot accomdate me. I have my exams in july and august. So i cant go then. Will it be a problem at the immigration? How much is the time limit to leave the country afyer approval of visa? I heard its 5 months. Please guide me. Thank you!
