I just found an email from my DSO that says my SEVIS record is terminated due to my poor attendance. The email was received 23 days ago. I have an option to provide a new bank statement to show that I can pay the tuition for the next year and get a new SEVIS record. But I have to depart U.S. and come back later. I heard that I have to depart U.S. in 15 days after my SEVIS record is terminated. If I depart U.S. now, will I be able to re-enter U.S. with a new I-20?

If you are granted re-admission to your school,
and if you are issued a new F-1 visa by the consulate,
and if you are granted admission at the port of entry,
...you'd be back. No guarantees
If you need more assurance of returning to school, marry your citizen fiancee and apply for adjustment of status
