Hi guys. So my F-1 approval notice recently came in. However, they listed my country of origin as Papua New Guinea instead of my original country of Origin. I asked my lawyers to contact USCIS to get this fixed and they said it would take about a month. I was wondering if I could take this F-1 Visa to the DMV to get my license renewed though as I have been unable to drive for months now and desperately need my license back. Would they notice the country of origin error and deny me a license renewal? Please let me know. Thanks!
