F1 to H1B visa?

I have been in the States for about 8 months with F1 visa. I go to a small language school. i learn a lot there. But i actually learn things while working for some places, so these days, i dont find going to school is not so important. But at the same time, i wanna stay legal. So i though changing my visa status would be good idea. So please give me some info if there are some one who have changed visa status to H1B from F1?
