How long can I stay out of US while on OPT?

Hi All,

I'm planning to travel for over 3 months out of US while I'm on my OPT, is it safe to do so? I'm currently working with a firm who will allow me to WFH so I'm planning to visit India for 3 months while working from home. Will I face any issues when coming back or when I apply for my OPT extension because of my prolonged out of country stay?
