I am from Mumbai. But, I have taken a visa appointment at the Kolkata consulate because there were no slots available in Mumbai in December and I need to fly to the university by Jan 13. Therefore, I added Kolkata as my consulate in the DS-160 form and also took an appointment there. Will that pose any problem? What kind of questions should I be prepared to answer if the consulate is not in the home state? Please help soon!
