Need to travel during EAD application
Hello,
I am an F1 student whose EAD card is currently in processing. I haven't received the I-765 Receipt Notice (form I-797) in the mail yet and it has been 30 days since they said they mailed it. I have made several complaints and request to resend it but no one has responded.
I did fill the G-1145 form with my application and so have received the receipt number via email and text message.
What do I do? I am hoping that I will receive the EAD card by the time I have to return from my home country, but I am not sure. If I receive it I will definitely show it at the immigration office upon arrival.
What documents should I take as I don't have the receipt notice or EAD card at the moment?
