Applying for F1 visa after two B1 rejections

Hi,

I applied for B1 visa twice in March 2016. It got rejected, and they gave me 241b. Now, I am applying for F1 visa. I have sufficient funds to study there as well. What are the chances of getting F1 visa? Would B1 rejection matter? It was applied 2 years ago.

241b denials are non-prejudicial. When you apply for the F-1 visa, the consular officer will evaluate your immigrant intent de novo, based on his assessment of the facts & circumstances
