Hi all,
My Vietnamese girlfriend applied for an English program/F1 visa. Her English is good, but not great.
She couldn't match the financial requirement ($25K), so I volunteered to be her sponsor (I134).
At the interview, the officer immediately rejected the F1 application, because the sponsor was a man about her age (myself). Lots of work, and a month of her salary spent for less than 5 min at the U.S embassy.
My question would be: What would be the odds for a second chance?
Same program, but I will wire the funds to her bank account this time. She will basically apply with no sponsor.
My concerns are that they may look at the previous application/rejection reason. Also the sudden increase in funds in her bank account from the first petition to the second one.
Thanks
