    Hi All,

    I had my visa interview on 27th Feb. My husband is already pursuing his studies in MS in US, so we planned to attend F2 visa interview for me and my son. The questions are as below, please help me what went wrong and what needs to be corrected

    VO : When did u get married
    Me: way back in 2009
    VO : How old is your son
    ME: he is 7 years and 8 months
    VO : What is your husband doing in US
    ME: he is doing his MS in computer science in XYZ university
    VO : What plans does he have post his graduation
    ME : He took his MS to help his career growth back in India for his promotions in senior mangament
    VO : When did he start his studies and when is he planning to completed
    ME: He started last year in Sep 2017 and planning to complete by this fall ( the reason he is finishing in fall because he is trying hard to complete as early as possible)
    VO : How long would you stay in US
    ME: until his graduation and would return back along with him
    VO: How would you manage your expenses?
    ME : We have worked for almost 10+ years and have substantial savings of 30 + Lacs and on campus job for miscellaneous expenses
    VO: Are you traveling out side for the first time
    ME : Yes
    VO: Are you working?
    ME : Yes in XYZ MNC company
    VO : What is your designation
    ME: I am team lead
    VO : What is your annual income
    ME: I told annual income
    VO: Are you reassigning your job
    ME: I would be on sabbatical for a year
    VO: So you mean to say that your husband is studying and you are on sabbatical leave. how will you manage your expenses
    ME : we have a savings of 30+ lacs for basic needs and on campus job for miscellaneous expenses

    Next VO handed over the 214 b and that i am not eligible for for this Visa.

    Please tell me what went wrong as i am planning to apply for one more interview march 3rd week. Also let me know if it is good idea to apply with n 3 weeks of refusal.
