  • F1- OPT Work authorization for job posting

I applied couple times for different positions in a company where I?m very interested to work in, in the application they ask (will you now or in the future require sponsorship for employment authorization?) I answer yes. The company rejected all my applications, I guess mainly because of sponsorship. They can sponsorship candidates but I think they don?t want to sponsor candidates for entry level positions. The last position I applied for has under qualifications this statement
    - Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future

So I thought if I answer their question (will you now or in the future require sponsorship for employment authorization?) yes they will disqualify me immediately. Therefore I answered it as NO (I put m self in a rough position, not a good idea to lie) I did it because I have a work authorization in the meantime and God knows what happed in three years. They scheduled a phone interview with me and I did very well now they scheduled an actual interview where I will fly to them and be interviewed. I have been thinking a lot to email them and explain myself but my friends told me to go and tell them in person at the end of the interview because I may have a better chance to get hired if they like me and possibly they won?t mind sponsor me. It is complicated as I don?t want them to think that I mislead them or lied to them in my application. So I need some advise for how to justify myself for answering (will you now or in the future require sponsorship for employment authorization?) as NO without losing my chance in getting the job. Please any thoughts?
