Chnage of school while H1b is pending

Hi,
I am currently on F1 status and working on CPT in school A. My current I20 expires in June 2018. If this year my H1b gets picked up and doesn't get approved before June 2018, can I enroll in another school and get a new I20 and also continue working on CPT from another school? What is the grace period after I20 expiration in which I can go out of status while H1b is pending?

I think you should be OK in terms of going to a new school, just let the immigration office know. I am not sure how long the grace period is, but I will check and get back to you.
