I am on F2 visa right now in US. My husband is doing PhD. I applied to the same university and got admit with instate tuition fee and assistantship to cover my entire expenditure.
I just applied to the one university though. I am going to india to change my status to F1 and therefore have to do the interview for changing to F1.
1) I was just wondering if telling them I have applied to just one university would be a problem resulting in visa refusal.
Ps. I have a GRE score of 300, Toefl 100 and this is my second masters.
2)Also I am choosing a differenr field altogether. I am from electric background but choosing to do Applied geography ( to specialise in GIS). I also want to know if choosing a varied field of interest would create an issue here.
