So I just come back to my home country after my first year at college and I will have to renew my F1 visa. I am qualified to renew it by sending my passport via mail. What I'm worrying is that is it possible to be rejected to renew the visa? My first year at college was quite horrid with a GPA smaller than 2.0, but I'm still maintaining a full time student status (over 12 credits for both semesters).

F1 visa renewal rejected possible?

It is possible for an F-1 visa application to be rejected, just as it is possible for an application for admission (at the port of entry) on F-1 status to be rejected
The burden is on the applicant to overcome the presumption of immigrant intent each and every time an application for a visa or admission is made
Best of luck in your visa renewal, and best of luck at school. You are carrying a recent I-20 with travel endorsement? I expect the consulate to double check to make sure you're on academic probation and not suspended or terminated, and that you are indeed enrolled in classes for the fall

hello
This is the offense to which I plead guilty:
93-4: No person shall allow, permit or suffer in or upon the licensed premises any disturbance, brawl or unnecessary noise nor allow or permit or suffer a licensed place of business to be conducted in such a manner as to become a nuisance
