Does H1B stamping cancel valid F1 visa?
Hi there,
I am on F1 visa currently in OPT. I just approved for H1B. I am considering getting my initial H1b stamp in my home country in June and come back to the US with my valid F1 visa. I am on OPT STEM extension with a valid EAD card. My question is: Does the consulate cancel the valid F1 visa when they put the H1b stamp even if the effective date for H1b is in the future (October 1st)?
