Emergency Home Visit During OPT Period for International Student on F1 Visa

I am international student on F1 Visa
I has got approval for Pre-OPT for my summer quarter(vacation)
I am doing internship in a company with valid EAD card applied under form I-765
Due to some emergency I need to go to my home country in between the internship period.
My current employer/company is willing to allow me to work from home and submit projects online for the remaining period of OPT (30 Days) for which they will pay me.


-Does this arrangement has any effect on my Legal status.
-Can I accept salary for the period I worked from home without any legal hassle.
-Will I be considered as unemployed for period I stayed outside USA during my OPT period.

well u can stay pr-opt unemployeed for 90 days so u should be fine. as u have required document u should be fine . take all the salary slip and i-20 and offer letter and all along with u while travelling. This is a suggestion not a legal advice
