F1 Visa(5yrs) Expire in passport, I-94 record

Hi, I have my F1 passport visa date(5yrs) expired but i am in Status, pursuing my master's degree with a University. The thing is i cant retrieve my I-94. When i entered my information, it says "No record found for traveler." Is this anything to do with the passport visa expiry date?? Anyone have same Experiences? Please share Your valuable information that can help me..Thanks.

That website you are referring to is the CBP's website for electronic I-94s issued at entry. Electronic I-94s only started being issued in mid-2013. Before that, everybody got paper I-94s. Do you not have a paper I-94?

They started issuing i-94 electronic when i came at that time only. So i have i-94 copies from CBP online over the time. But From CBP website, I got to know that they only show 5yrs of data in CBP. So if we need afterwards, we need to file some form to get that info.
