  • Not attending US university last minute PLEASE HELP

Hi, I have been issued an F1 visa but have reversed my decision of studying in the US last minute. I've not entered the country on the F1 visa and I've alerted my school. Do I have to do anything to my visa or leave it be? I want to visit the US normally on ESTA in the next 3 years as well.

If I want to apply for masters, what shall I do because I want to start my masters in the US in 2021, but my current and unused F1 visa doesn't expire until 2022. Will this situation affect future US visa applications or entries?

    1. Need not do anything else.
    2. Apply for Masters as-usual. Once you get your new I20, you can apply for another F1. They can cancel the existing visa and grant you a new one.
Just an opinion; Not legal advice.
