My SIL in India is planning to give GRE soon and apply for a Master's program at a university close to where I live.
Financially she cannot afford full tuition and living expenses so I was thinking of sponsoring her. Can I do that?
Besides I believe graduate programs offer graduate assistantships that pay for partial tuition and/or stipend. She will also be staying with us so it won't be as much financial burden on her as other students. Do I have the right understanding about graduate assistantships?
