HI,
I am in H1 status right now (my visa is not yet stamped). When I was on OPT I worked as an independent contrcator (Worked as a software consultant) for my employer and I got the W-2 s on 1099. I filed them to IRS
with the same status. Is it legal ? Am I going to face any problems if they see the W-2 on 1099 when I go for stamping? Please advice.
